Books and series

This page gathers the published picture books and longer fiction I work on, so you can see how the list fits together before you dive into the Portfolio gallery.

Picture books sit on one shelf of my practice: short texts, big spreads, and room for jokes that land in a single image. The Bumblebear is a good example of that shape, written and drawn for very young readers who like rhyme, warmth, and a little chaos on the page.

The Grimwood books sit on another shelf. They are longer, illustrated novels for readers around seven and up, with ongoing characters, cliffhangers, and more dialogue. If you want the short version of who I am and how I work, the About page still carries the clearest biography.

When a title is tied to a school visit, a festival slot, or a licensing question, I usually point people to Contact so we can sort dates and usage in one thread. For general browsing you can always return to the Home page and pick a section from the menu.

If you are new to my work, a practical reading order is: start with any picture book that matches the age of the child in front of you, then move to Grimwood when they want a longer story with the same sense of humour. Teachers often pair a picture book session with a short Grimwood extract so the class can compare pacing side by side.

I keep this list descriptive rather than like a shop window. Stock, editions, and new printings change with publishers and territories, so the safest way to confirm what is in print where you live is still to check your local bookshop or library catalogue and use the title names you see here as a search handle.
